Jen Biscoe

My paintings are about the experiences in my life and the people that I come across. My first portrait paintings were of my children as I became a mother. This led to painting characters from my local surf club and holding an exhibition. Recently I went to Japan and came home wanting to paint the people and practices of that culture. I am hoping to do more travels and also capture these in paint. Surfing and the beach are also major parts of my life so my next series will be all about the ocean and enjoying it.
During all this painting I have also been painting personal portraits for customers. This has been very rewarding and I will continue to do this, while also developing works for future exhibitions and prints.
Hope you enjoy my work :)
