This painting was a result of a 'speed painting' exercise that I did with other artists.  We all started with the same reference photo and had a limited amount of time to complete the painting.  Not long after this speed painting, we did the same exercise again, but with a different beach photo and in the public.  It was a lot of fun and generated lots of interest.  I am planning to do more of this style of local beaches that will of course be at a lower price.  Both of these painting sold quickly and made birthday presents for someone.
